About the Role
Lognow India Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Consultant to support a large-scale supply chain transformation program for a leading client based in Frankfurt, Germany. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in SAP TM, experience with SAP S/4HANA environments, and the ability to drive transportation and logistics process optimisation across complex business landscapes.
This role offers an opportunity to work in an international environment with a primarily remote setup and onsite collaboration in Frankfurt.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead SAP TM functional consulting activities across transportation processes.
• Configure and optimise SAP TM solutions covering:
Transportation Planning
Freight Management
Carrier Selection & Tendering
Transportation Execution
Freight Settlement
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP TM solutions.
• Conduct workshops, support solution design, testing (SIT/UAT), go-live activities, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams including SAP EWM, SD, MM, FI/CO, GTS, and S/4HANA teams.
• Analyse existing transportation processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support digital supply chain transformation initiatives and logistics optimisation.
• Manage stakeholder communication and facilitate business discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience as an SAP TM Consultant in implementations, rollouts, or transformation programs.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Transportation Management and SAP S/4HANA TM.
• Strong understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Experience integrating SAP TM with:
• SAP EWM
• SAP SD
• SAP MM
• SAP FI/CO
• SAP GTS
• Experience with SAP TM configuration and functional solution design.
• Ability to manage workshops, requirement gathering, testing, and deployment activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Fluent German (C1/C2) and strong English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• SAP TM Certification.
• Experience working in Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, Logistics, or 3PL industries.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Digital Supply Chain transformation programs.
• Experience with Embedded TM in SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience working in global and multicultural project environments.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
